VNNIC Internet Conference 2024 with the theme of "Secure and sustainable Internet infrastructure in the development of emerging technologies" aims to orient the expert community on the application of new solutions and technologies in Internet infrastructure management and development, develop a "bigger, faster, safer, flatter" Internet, and apply technology in evaluating, monitoring, measuring and exploiting Internet data to for the construction of digital infrastructure and national digital transformation.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of VNIX, VNIX-NOG 2023 was held as a series of events from October 5–6, 2023, in Da Lat City. The program included an IPv6 Workshop for government agencies and the main VNIX-NOG 2023 Conference under the theme “Innovating VNIX as the national digital infrastructure.”
From September 4th – 7th, 2023, in Da Nang City, Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC), in collaboration with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the Domain Name System Operations Analysis and Research Center (DNS-OARC), successfully hosted the ICANN DNS Symposium (IDS 2023) and the DNS-OARC 41 Workshop in Viet Nam. The event welcomed nearly 200 leading global experts in the field of the Domain Name System (DNS)
The VNNIC Internet Conference 2023 - Internet in Intelligent Era aims to bring together experts and the Internet community to discuss new technologies and technical solutions that ensure the Internet’s core values: Inclusive – Secure – Intelligent. The Conference aims to highlight and promote the Internet as one of humanity’s most essential infrastructures, driving the development of digital data, digital technologies, and digital transformation.
“The Future of the Internet” was selected as the main theme of the VNNIC Internet Conference 2022, to bring together the expert community to discuss and address major, in-depth Internet issues in the context of post–COVID-19 recovery. The highlights of the event featured presentations and discussions on topics such as “The Future of the Internet,” “5G/6G Networks on Next-Generation IPv6 with IoT and Cloud Computing,” and “Blockchain and the Future of the Internet.”
